New Nintendo news is upon us! As E3 2016 approaches, more and more gaming news is starting to show up. While Nintendo is notoriously quiet about what they are working on, there are a few things that the company has announced will be unveiled at the upcoming conference.

Here’s what we can look forward to.

Cover Art

The Legend of Zelda will be updated (for Wii U) and new cover art will come with it. The art has already been released, and it already looks amazing. I can’t wait to see what Nintendo does with this new version of the old classic.

New Games

On June 15th Nintendo will be releasing some new Wii U and 3DS game titles. Some of what you will see include Dragon Quest VII, Monster Hunter Generations from Capcom, and some additional titles.

Social Play

Nintendo is starting to do social media very well, and one of the things that the company has recently done is play with its Mii world. Today on Twitter, Nintendo will release ‘Link’s new hair wig’ for every 10,000 tweets the company gets from people using the Miitomo app. So far the Twitter world has been responsive.

Kickoff Intro

On June 14th you’ll get to see a kickoff of Nintendo’s Treehouse that includes Nintendo’s COO Reggie Fils-Aime. That talk should come with more information about what the company is currently working on.

Big News Coming

It’s been awhile since Nintendo has announced any really big news, so the company is due to bring some happiness the way of Nintendo fans. It’s clear that Nintendo will be focusing on the Miitomo world a lot and that Miis will be central (this is clear from the new Twitter campaign), but it’s hard to tell what else is up Nintendo’s sleeve.

The art that Nintendo has show from the Legend of Zelda is also pretty nice to look at. Ever since its inception Zelda has been highly focused on art and imagery, so it makes sense that Nintendo would put heavy emphasis on that aspect of the game this time around as well. Even though Zelda is now on Wii U instead of the older consoles, the game is still going strong with Zelda fans.
Stay Tuned

Stay tuned for more information from the E3 conference - this is when all the biggest gaming news of the year is announced. So if you’re a gamer, you’ll want to check out the news from the conference on this website when it comes out. Other companies will be at the conference as well, so even if you’re not a Nintendo fan you’ll still want to check out what happens at the E3 conference this year.

For now, sit back and enjoy the amazing Zelda artwork that Nintendo has created and so kindly showcased already! Only magical things can happen from Nintendo, and that’s exactly what Nintendo fans are banking on this time around as well. Even though some thought Nintendo was dead, the company is here to prove everyone wrong. I can’t wait.
